About Skyhook Structural Engineering
Skyhook Structural Engineering, P.C. (SSE) was founded by William O’Donnell in June 1999. SSE currently has a staff of five professional/ structural engineers and one engineering intern with licenses in 37 states. Our home office is located in Brentwood, Tennessee and we have branch offices in Asheville, North Carolina and Columbus, Ohio.

We are committed to working with our clients to provide creative, yet cost-effective, solutions to the structural design challenges required for both the typical and the unique elements of architectural design. SSE strives to provide economical, practical, and constructible structures for our clients.
We have assembled a close staff of experienced professional engineers. Each project is assigned to a project engineer that serves as a point of contact and is responsible for all aspects of the project design, construction document production, and construction administration. Our office environment facilitates communication and collaboration among staff members and clients, including the discussion of design solutions and the sharing of ideas. This approach allows us maintain a high level of quality control and client service. Our experienced staff and efficient process enables us provide structural engineering services for construction projects totaling more than $700 million annually.
